Frequently Asked Questions
Q: I've never studied Japanese before, but I am very interested in Japanese. Am I eligible to join this course?
A: YES, as long as you fulfill the other requirements stated, you are eligible to join this course even if you have never studied Japanese before. However, please bear in mind that this course is designed to be fast-paced with a significant load of exercises/homework, as such it is only recommended for those who are able to cope with the speed and intend to cover the BEGINNER level in a very short period of time.
Q: Can I only register for the 1st half/2nd half of the course (JLPT N5 or N4 only)
A: NO, those who are interested are required to register for the entire BEGINNER level. You can always contact our main branch at Damansara Utama for the other intensive course offered.
Q: Why like that one?
A: There are some students from other states who are interested in taking intensive Japanese classes, but are not able to due to reasons like the lack of language schools/centres/similar courses offered in their town.
This course is designed to be considerably shorter and cheaper than what is available in most centres so that these students can save both time and money when they come over and stay at Kuala Lumpur to learn the language.
That being said, EXCEPT for the purpose of ensuring that those accepted are able to cope with the speed of the class, registration is based on first-come, first-served policy and upon full payment received.
Q: But you are only accepting 4 people! Isn't that too little?
A: Due to the speed of the class and the syllabus that MUST be covered within the given time-frame, having more students could hinder us and our students from reaching the goal/objective of this course.
As this intake is an introductory to the course, please allow our teachers a term or two for trial-and-error and also to familiarize with everything that is required to make this course sustainable.
Q: The last day of my SPM exam is on 4th December wor... so how?
A: We understand that the commencement day clashes with the last paper scheduled for the SPM exam. As it is the start of the course, catching up to what you have missed on the first day would not be an issue. However, please inform us during registration if the above applies to you.
Q: Must I pay in full? Do you have other options, like installment plans for this course?
A: As a rule of thumb, the full amount is required when registering for the course.
However, if there is really a need to, please make an appointment to meet Horiike-sensei to discuss further on this matter.
