I have never studied Japanese before, where should I start?
We suggest starting with Level 1, which is best for beginners to build a strong foundation.
I’ve studied Japanese before. How can I know which class to join?
Please contact the nearest branch to arrange a level check. If possible, bring your textbooks or study materials with you.
Do I need a level check?
A level check is a mandatory process our teacher uses to assess the Japanese language proficiency of individuals who have studied Japanese before joining our classes.
You will be required to take a level check if you:
- Studied Japanese through self-study
- Learned Japanese at another school or language centre
- Studied Japanese in the past but have since stopped

Are intensive courses offered at the Johor Bahru and Penang branches?
No, intensive courses are only available at Damansara Utama branch.
What is the difference between class levels and JLPT levels?
The term ‘class levels’ refers to the different levels offered in our courses, while ‘JLPT levels’ indicate the proficiency of Japanese as measured by the JLPT exam. (Japanese Language Proficiency Test)
What are the differences between Intensive course and Group class?
Is it mandatory to buy the textbooks? How and when can I collect them if I paid online?
You don’t have to buy the textbooks if you already have them. You can get your books in one of these ways:
- Pick them up directly from us on class day, or
- Come by before class starts (just let us know first so we can have them ready), or
- Ask for delivery (shipping charges will apply).
I’m interested in other classes, like conversation class / JLPT preparation class. Do you offer those?

How many levels are there in JLPT?
There are a total of 5 levels, N5 is the most basic level and N1 is the highest level.
When is the JLPT exam?
It’s held twice a year, July and December.
Do you help students to register for the JLPT exam?
We don’t help with exam registration. Students need to register themselves.
When and how can I register for the JLPT exam?

Payment & Refund
What payment methods do you accept?
Cash and online banking.
Can I pay in installment / pay monthly?
We don’t accept installment and monthly payment.
What information do I need to provide to make a payment?
Please provide the following information so we can identify your payment:
- The name of the student, or
- The phone number used to register with us, and
- Specify the class you’re paying for, or
- Any other information that can help us identify you.
Can I pay part of the fee now and the rest after class starts?
No, payments must be made in full before the class begins.
If I choose to withdraw from the course, can I get a refund?
Yes, you can ask for a refund for any remaining classes. Just keep in mind that there’s a RM50 fee for processing the refund.
What if the class is canceled because there aren’t enough students? Will I get a refund?
You will receive a full refund. There won’t be any handling charges in this case.
